We were particularly concerned about young people and those that seemed to be spiralling out of control. We did not see ourselves as a church ministry at the time, but more of a community initiative reaching out to young people.
From those times of gathering and planning, two things happened simultaneously, first, we formed an alternative provision for young people, which work with young people from 2016-2023. Secondly, we began to meet on Sundays to join together in worship, prayer and the Word and that is how the church ministry, Tabernacle Ministries was born.
We meet every Sunday morning at 10:30 am at Clapham Village Hall; details on our meeting times are on the event page, and please see our contact page for details on how to find us.

ABOUT US
Our church ministry started in May 2015; a small group of concerned and passionate individuals met on Friday evenings in a community office space for worship and Bible study.
From those humble times of pouring over God’s Word, a passion and concern for young people began to ignite and set ablaze among the group. Exploration took place on how we could be proactive as Christians to impact the lives of people by being a Christian witness.
