What we believe

Statement of Faith

We are a church with a desire to express the heart of Christ to all.

Our teaching and lifestyle are based on Biblical teaching. Our objective to make Jesus known, according to the great commission of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Matthew 28:18 -21 (KJV)

And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying,

“All authority has been given to Me,

in heaven and on earth.

Go therefore and make disciples

of all the nations,

baptizing them in the name of

the Father and of the Son

and of the Holy Spirit,

teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo,

I am with you always,

even to the end of the age.”

Amen.

What we believe …

  • The Bible to be the inspired and only infallible written Word of God.

  • There is only One God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son and, God the Holy Spirit.

  • That the Lord Jesus Christ has by His suffering, death, burial and resurrection made atonement for the whole world so that whosoever receives Him as Lord and Saviour may be saved.

  • The only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ.

  • That regeneration (rebirth) by the Holy Spirit is essential for personal salvation.

  • In water baptism as modelled by our Lord Jesus in Matthew 3:13-15.

  • That the redemptive work of Christ on the Cross provides healing for the human body in answer to believing prayer.

  • That the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4, is given to believers who ask for it.

  • In the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit, by who’s indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy and separated life in the present world.

  • In the blessed Hope, which is the rapture of the Church of God, (born again believers), at His return.

Joining Our Church

Tabernacle is a family, whoever you are, you are warmly welcome here!

Fellowship companionship, friendship and communion is at the heart of who we are.  Jesus had that closeness, that empathy and unity with His followers, and we have this with the Holy Spirit when we ask Him to be Lord of our lives.

We extend a warm welcome to anyone visiting our church, just like Jesus welcomed anyone who responds to His invitation to embrace Him and accept Him as Lord and Saviour.

If you are considering becoming a member and involved in the ministry of Tabernacle Ministries, we believe it is important for you to get to know us, and for us to get to know you.  Therefore, for anyone wanting to join our church, we set aside the time to for us learn about each other.

We do this through 4 sessions we call “Get on Board” for individuals to learn more about our church, what we believe, who our church leaders are and what it means to be a member.  Our “Get on Board” sessions are held bi-weekly, on S

Sunday afternoons and each session is about an hour.

If you are interested in joining the Church or would just like to learn more about us, please contact us at admin@tabernacle-ministries.co.uk.
